Brand, operator and holder: who runs a crypto casino

Three words get mixed up constantly:

• Brand — the name on the logo and in the browser tab, such as Bitcasino.io or Shuffle.com.
• Operator — the company that runs the site day to day and signs the terms with you.
• Licence holder — the company named on the certificate issued by an authority.

Often the operator and the holder are one and the same company. Sometimes a group runs several brands under one certificate, and sometimes a brand moves between names while the company stays put.

The table below the text sets these out in full. In short:

• Vave — Latcas B.V., holder of Curaçao Gaming Authority number OGL/2024/1676/0905; the record has been active since 19 May 2025.
• Bitcasino.io — Moon Technologies B.V., OGL/2023/111/0069, issued 1 July 2024.
• Bitsler — Oyine N.V., OGL/2024/930/0387, issued 22 July 2024.
• Shuffle.com — Natural Nine B.V., OGL/2024/1337/0628, issued 16 October 2024, from a lookup on 8 September 2026.
• Jack.com — Data Link Digital B.V., OGL/2024/1562/1139, issued 23 July 2025 for jack.com. Until its renaming on 29 May 2026 the brand traded as Jackbit, and jackbit.com has its own certificate.
• Wild Fortune — Metlait SRL, Anjouan licence ALSI-202509073-FI2, an entry that covered 29 domains on 2 September 2026, wildfortune.io among them.

The last pair shows why the company layer matters. One holder with 29 addresses means the licence line alone cannot tell you which brand you are dealing with; only the domain list can.

Where the company name is printed

You rarely need to search far. The name appears in three places, and it is worth reading all of them.

1. The terms

The opening clauses of a set of terms usually introduce the company and its licence. Rocketpot prints its number in cl. 1.2, Metaspins in cl. 1.1, and Wolfbet in cl. 1 ¶1. Look for a legal form after the name, such as B.V., N.V., SRL or Ltd, and copy it exactly. The terms are the document you agree to, so the company named there is the one your account sits with.

2. The footer

Footers tend to repeat the company name, a licence badge and sometimes a registered address. They are useful for a quick look, but they are also the part of a site edited least often. Wolfbet repeats its Anjouan number in the footer; Rainbet shows a seal with no number beside it, while cl. 21.6 of its terms names Gaming Services Provider N.V. as the authority.

3. The certificate

The issuer's record is the independent check. For Curaçao, that is the Certificate of Operation page on cert.cga.cw, which shows the holder, the number, the issue date, the status and the domains. How to check who runs a crypto casino in five minutes

1. Copy the company name from the terms, including its legal form.
2. Open cert.cga.cw and search. The portal accepts a company name or a domain; it does not look records up by licence number.
3. Try both searches. A company search shows every certificate the company holds. A domain search tells you whether the address you actually use is attached to one.
4. Open the Certificate of Operation and compare holder, number and status with what the terms say.
5. Save the result with the date. A screenshot for your own records is enough.

When the names do not match

Mismatches are not rare, and they come in a few recognizable shapes.

Two companies for one brand

Wild.io is the clearest case on our board. The Curaçao certificate names Nonce Gaming B.V., while the terms name Stack Gaming Ltd. Both names are recorded as found, and neither is treated as the answer. If you meet this pattern elsewhere, write to support and ask which company is party to your account and which one holds the certificate, then keep the reply.

Two authorities for one brand

Metaspins prints the Anjouan number ALSI-202606048-FI2 in cl. 1.1. On 12 September 2026 the Curaçao record, by contrast, listed Metaspins N.V. under OGL/2024/1063/0437, status active, for metaspins.com. The two records do not reconcile each other. Note both, and read the terms to see which authority they name for complaints.

A company in the record, silence in the terms

Thunderpick's terms stay silent on both the authority and the licence number, yet a domain search on the Curaçao portal turns up OGL/2024/677/0722, marked active. Here the certificate fills in what the terms omit, which helps, but the gap in the terms themselves is still worth noting.

A number the portal no longer supports

Rocketpot's cl. 1.2 prints 1668/JAZ. Lookups on 12 and again on 13 September 2026 returned that certificate with the status not valid. When the company and the number point to a record in that state, treat the licence line as unresolved until you see a different record yourself.

What the company name helps you do

Knowing the operator is practical, not academic. It tells you whose terms govern identity checks and caps, which authority the terms name if a dispute arises, and whether two brands you use belong to the same group.
